Meet Maverick. He has a story to tell at such a young age. He came to us after my daughter went to get her oil changed. She was waiting in line when she could tell there was a problem with the car in front of her. When she gets out to see what is going, the mechanics are pulling this little guy out of the engine. He was terrified and bit the mechanic out of fear. The woman had no idea how he could of gotten in her car or where he came from. They did not know what to do with him and my daughter feared they were going to set him loose on a busy road. So he went for another care ride but at least this time he was inside. The vet gave him a date of birth of July 20th but he only weighs 1 lb. 4 oz. He looks a little younger to me but we always go by the vets date. He is eating well and only has a small abrasion on his face from his ordeal. He is using his litter box and now purring for attention. He will be looking for a new home in a few weeks. He is FIV/Leukemia negative, current on vaccine, flea and wormed treated and microchip. His approx. DOB is 7/20/2020.
